What We Fund

The Frenchman’s Reserve Charitable Foundation will award grants to 501(c)(3) charities serving Palm Beach County. The charities must be in good standing with the IRS, be current with the Florida Secretary of State, and have filed a solicitation statement with the Florida Department of Agriculture Consumer Services. The majority of grants are awarded for projects and programs supported by specific budgets and produce measurable outcomes.

Areas of Focus

Programs that further literacy and education for all residents of Palm Beach County including deserving low-income youth and those with learning disabilities. 

Counseling

Health and Wellness

Programs and initiatives that seek to improve the lives of those suffering from physical or mental issues and those that address wellness issues in children, adults and families.

Cooking-SelfCare

Social Services

Programs and organizations that assist needy individuals by providing necessary support in the areas of nutrition, self-sufficiency and relationship assistance.

Kids-Being-Creative

Child Services

Programs aimed at ensuring that every child has a chance to learn, develop and grow in spite of family circumstances or physical and mental hindrances.

Veterans

Veterans Services

Organizations that support wounded and disabled military veterans whose aim is to ease the burdens associated with critical care and unexpected essential expenses.  

SnowyEgret-Wildlife

Animals

Programs dedicated to the protection and conservation of wildlife and natural resources and those that address the needs of abused and abandoned pets.  

What We Do Not Fund

  • Grants to Individuals or Private Foundations
  • Organizations Providing Services outside of Palm Beach County
  • Grants for sectarian or religious purposes unless the applicant organization demonstrates that the project or program is non-denominational and open to all. Further, the project must not include religious programming or faith-based requirements for participation.
  • Political lobbying / campaigning / political organizations /candidacies
  • National organizations that do not have an active local chapter with demonstrable direct benefits to residents of Palm Beach County
  • Multi-year Grants, debt reduction, bridge loans
