Grant Information

Grant applications are now being accepted until December 1, 2024.

Application Process

RhythmQ provides the online system which we use to receive grant applications. By clicking on a link to the system, you will be taken to the site where you may register your charity and begin the application process.

All applicants must be qualified not-for-profit charities located and serving those living in Palm Beach County, Florida. Charities not located in Palm Beach County will only be considered if the program they are seeking support for serves the population of our geographic area.

Important Information

The Foundation primarily supports applications for specific projects with measurable results within our Areas of Focus. Organizations must be recognized 501(c)(3) charities in good standing with the IRS. We do not support applicants seeking general support for operating expenses, salaries or overhead.

The Foundation welcomes projects which have multiple sources of funding and are supported by a strong commitment from the charity’s Board of Directors.

Funding is provided on a year-to-year basis, and we do not accept applications for multi-year commitments. Organizations are welcome to apply each year for funding.

Awards Process

Once applications are complete and submitted through the grants portal, applicants will be notified if their applications will be considered for approval.

Those applications which are considered for approval will be reviewed by the Grants Committee, which may ask for additional information including a site visit as appropriate. In reviewing applications, the committee will evaluate each application based on:

  • The seriousness of the problem and how the project or program will address the concern.
  • The capability and history of the applicant.
  • Whether the application falls within the Foundation’s Area of Focus.

If the Grants Committee recommends the application for funding it is sent to the Board of Directors (BOD) which has final authority to award the grant. Applications not approved by the Committee will be notified at that time.

Once a project or program has been approved by the BOD the applicant will be notified that their application has been approved and, if possible, the amount of the award. Grant recipients will be asked to sign an Agreement Letter which specifies the responsibilities of the recipient.

This will generally include a requirement to provide progress reports and a final report on the results of the project or program.
